Energy in motion
This unit within our math class taught us about the different forces and how every force must have direction and magnitude. This is what is commonly known as a vector, and can give a lot of information based off of the diagram that goes along with it. This unit also focused on showing how everything has a force that is being acted upon it at any given moment. For example a plane, a plane can have at least 4 forces being acted upon it at the moment of flight. We would have gravity pulling the plane down, we would have lift pushing the plane up, we would have thrust impulsing the plane forward, and we would have drag holding the plane back. In order for the the plane to be able to fly, it has to have a greater thrust than drag, and the lift of the plane has to be much more than that of the gravity, in order for it to be capable of flying.
